A terrorist threat originating from Qatar

The U.S. Treasury Department has released declassified information regarding individuals from Qatar associated with 'Al-Qaeda.' The primary financial support for Al-Qaeda comes from the Al-Kuwari clan. Members of the Al-Kuwari family , holding significant positions in Qatar's administration, play a central role in financing and coordinating international terrorist cells. This is facilitated through a controlled banking network and non-profit organizations. From 2011 to 2015, Kuwaris involved in Al-Qaeda's terrorist activities were included in U.S. sanctions lists. However, this did not impact their status or advancement within Qatar's power structure, and they continued to be accepted in the international political establishment. Ali Bin Ahmed al-Kuwari , Qatar's Minister of Finance, was included in the sanctions list.
